About The Movie – Quebecair 1978 Film:
In the year 1978, Quebecair’s fleet stood with Boeing 727-100, Four Fairchild F27s, Five Convair 580s, three BAC One Elevens, Two Boeing 707-123Bs and a Hercules. Quebecair’s fleet was used for sun destination charter work. Due to some reason, we’re sorry to announce that Convairs didn’t appear in the film. Though, it’s shameful, but we have BAC One Eleven, 727 and F27 in this film for action.
Also, we have a Herc and 707 footage in this film. For James Bay Energy, Convair 580s of Quebecair was operated. Convairs 580s didn’t operate for the scheduled services of Quebecair. It was specially operated for James so, that’s why it didn’t appear in the Quebecair 1978 film. One more thing that you’ll not get in this film is, the icing on the cake. This sounds sad! But, all of the above, we should be appreciative for the great gem and footage that this film has included.
The movie is based on airline industry. It’s basically a short documentary on the airline industry of 1970s. In this short film you’ll see the airport scenes of Montreal. Moreover, some other airports of Quebec have also been shown by Quebecair.
