The year 2017 was a bitter sweat period for Boeing 747 Fat Albert fans is it saw final fleet retirements of the type by both Delta Airlines and United Airlines in the US. This marked the end of 47 years of continuous airline operations of the Boeing 747 in the United States as the type was first placed into service by Pan Am back in 1970.
Lufthansa still maintains an immaculate fleet of Boeing 747-400s, which will remain on strength for a few more years, so we at JetFlix TV purchased a Business Class return ticket between Vancouver and Frankfurt-Main airport so that we could sample and document this amazing aircraft for the viewing pleasure of the JetFlix TV viewing community.
We are delighted to announce the release of a 5-part mini series on the “Lufthansa Boeing 747-400 Upper Deck Experience” which charts our return trip across the North Atlantic on this classic jumbo jetliner. Boeing 747 fans will delight in the immersive film style employed by JetFlix TV founder Henry Tenby, as he takes the viewer along for the journey. No detail of the journey is left unexplored, as everything from boarding, inflight service, the IFE, lavs and cabins, to the boarding process, the VIP lounge, and much much more is all presented in the mini series.
