In this awesome film just released on the JetFlix TV streaming service for aviation freaks, we join Dutch Aviation fan Chris Mak for an August 2014 visit to the Super Constellation Flyers Association Lockheed Super Connie for a majestic pleasure flight through the Swiss Alps.
This is a must-watch movie for all self-confessed, red-blooded, card-carrying, round engine, belching smoke, squeaking brakes, vintage propliner fanatics. Referring to the Connie of course!
The 30 minute film takes us from ramp to ramp for the whole flight. We enjoy engine start, taxi to runway, engine run-ups, take-off, inflight footage along side the towering Alps, and the full return back to dleightful Bern airport.
The immediate future looks promising for the upcoming flying season for the Swiss Connie as the vintage propliner is planned to operate to European airshows for the summer season 2018, once again making it possible for aviation freaks to sample the delights of a magical Connie flight. You are invited to join the Super Constellation Flyers Association of Switzerland, and membership in the society brings the opportunity to purchase a seat on one of the many pleasure flights conducted by the aircraft each summer season. At JetFlix TV we highly recommend our viewers to support this worthwhile organization: CLICK HERE for more information.
