This BAe 146 sale promo film was produced by British Aerospace in 1990 to help sell their then new medium range jetliner. The BAe 146 has a four engined high wing design to enable it to operate from short unimproved airfields with obstacles. Which made the airliner equally at home at hub and spoke airports and at specialty airports like the then new London City airport, which is a short runway airfield in a confined city centre landscape surrounded with buildings and obstacles.
The BAe 146 won orders from leading airlines all around the world, including Air Canada Connector Air BC, United Airlines affiliate Air Wisconsin, Dan-Air, Air UK to name but a few, and several of these airlines are featured in this film.
Presented on this page is a short teaser video, and the full version of this film can be viewed by JetFlix members.
