We are very pleased to present a 7 part video series on the famous Dutch aircraft model builder Bob Dros, of Bel-Air Models based in Amsterdam.

JetFlix founder Henry Tenby is also a very keen collector of professional aircraft display models, as well as an author of a book specially written for model collectors. As such, he had the great pleasure of spending a very informative and interesting evening at the home and workshop of Bob Dros to learn more about the building of his amazing perspex aircraft models.

We felt it was very important to document Bob Dros and his amazing skills and talent in building scale display aircraft models in perspex, because so few model builders work in perspex at his level of detail. Bel-Air models made by Bob Dros are works of art that are worthy of attention by the world’s most serious aircraft display model collectors. And by watching these videos and listening to Bob and the efforts he goes to in the planning and production of each model, we are sure you will agree these perspex models are unique, valuable and deserve to be in museums! Bob is planning to retire from model building in the next few years, as he clearly explains in the videos.
