The mid 1970s was not a particularly notable period for airline passenger safety as a number of very serious accidents had taken place within just a few years. The worst had to be the 1977 Tenerife collision between a Pan Am and KLM Boeing 747, however there were other serious accidents before this including a TWA Boeing 707 and Overseas National DC-10 that were equally tragic. This film was made by TWA in 1975 to raise awareness and re educate flight operations and air crew staff of the factors leading up to the Overseas National DC-10 accident and the TWA Boeing 707 accident.
