On May 14, 2012, JetFlix TV creator Henry Tenby along with British aviation enthusiast Ron Kosys enjoyed a flight with Wescoast Air aboard their De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter on floats C-FWTE between Vancouver Harbour and Victoria Harbour.

It is a clear, blue sky day, the perfect setting to ride the Amphib Twin Otter between Vancouver and Victoria and as a passenger, Henry Tenby was able to film most of the flight, including both the water take-off and landing.

Westcoast Air was purchased by Harbour Air Seaplanes and even today it is possible to book a flight on the Twin Otter on floats for the flight between Vancouver and Victoria, which is quite a special flight for serious flight hounds. Reason being it is getting quite difficult to find the chance for regular scheduled flights on Twin Otters, let alone float equipped Twin Otters! Put this on your to-do list if you have not already experience amphib Twin Otter flying. It is a flight experience well worth seeking out.
